Nursery

Care for children up to kindergarten age

Child care for children from birth until they begin kindergarten is available during both our 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. services in the nursery facilities located on the ground floor of the parish house. Our nursery staff is required to have a background check, to complete the Diocesan-sponsored Safe Church Training, and have current infant/child CPR and First Aid training certification. Two workers are on hand at all times. The maximum allowable child to staff ratios are one adult to every six children and one adult to every four infants.

Parents sign their child in and out of the nursery each visit. Parents also fill out a "Church Nursery Information" card kept on file in the nursery, and only the parents/guardians, or persons listed on the card by them, may pick up the child from the nursery.

A paging system is in place for the notification of parents should their little ones need parental attention or should any emergency arise: a parent is issued a pager at time of signing in the child.

A complete Christ Church Nursery Ministry Policies and Procedures is available in the Nursery for parents to review.
